My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Green Paws is hoping to find his forever home after a tough start to life. This shy guy came to us after being born into a unplanned litter of 13! His guardian had a difficult time rehoming all the pups which is how Green ended up with us. Green did not receive typical socializing from a young age so will need his forever family to help work on building up his confidence. We have already seen such a sweet and gentle side to this boy but he will need time and patience to blossom into his most confident self.

One requirement for Greens home would be a fenced in outdoor area as his leash training will take time. At the moment, he is not comfortable enough with the leash on to be able to go on walks. Staff are working on getting Green and his sibling comfortable with how the leash feels but this will not be a quick process.

We are unsure how this guy would react to a new dog in the home due to his lack of socializing but we do know he loves hanging out and playing with his siblings. If you have a dog friendly canine at home who you feel would enjoy a playmate, we would be happy to do a meet with the two to see if its a match.

*Please note - We are seeking an adopter within the Fraser Valley as Green is still awaiting his neuter appointment on January 23 2026.
Dog meets are by appointment only and may not be accommodated on a walk-in basis. If you would like to meet with Green, the first step is to submit your online application.
