My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

About Hilly
Looking for a kitten who’s equal parts dainty sweetheart and devoted cuddle buddy? Meet Hilly. This petite little lady may start off cautious, but once she knows you’re safe, she blossoms into the kind of affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to curl up close and purr her heart out.

She’s not the loudest in the room, her brother Almaden may steal that spotlight, but Hilly brings a gentle, steady love that makes every snuggle feel like a gift.

Personality Highlights

  • Velcro Level: Moderate but Mighty: Once she trusts you, Hilly will happily melt into your arms or curl into your lap for extended cuddle sessions.

  • Petite but Perfect: Small in size, big in heart. She’s the kind of kitten who makes you feel protective while also stealing your heart.

  • Warm-Up Queen: She may take a moment to assess new people or situations, but her reward is the sweetest affection once she’s comfortable.

  • Snuggle Specialist: Her favorite place is wherever you are, preferably tucked against you like the little spoon.

Loves

  • Cozy cuddle sessions once she feels safe

  • Playing and romping with her brother Almaden

  • Quiet, soft spaces where she can feel secure

  • Purring herself to sleep in your lap

Not a Fan Of

  • Rushing introductions (she likes to take her time)

  • Loud chaos or too much rough-and-tumble energy

  • Being left without a playmate

Ideal Home
Hilly is looking for:

  • A gentle, patient adopter who will give her time to warm up and shine

  • A home with another playful kitten or cat, ideally one of her siblings to help her feel confident and keep her company

  • Someone who values sweet companionship and cozy snuggles over constant antics

Hilly isn’t the type to overwhelm you with drama; she’s the quiet treasure who waits until you’ve earned her trust, then rewards you with all the love in her little heart. If you’re looking for a petite cuddlebug to grow with you and maybe bring along a sibling, Hilly might just be your perfect match.

Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.

This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
