My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie came into our lives at a time when a contractor we knew needed to re home him. We were told he is a Labradoodle, but his appearance is much more reminiscent of a Wolfhound or Wolfhound mix—tall, sturdy, and striking. At the time we took him in, we had a fenced yard, stability, and plenty of love to give. We believed we could be the safe place Charlie needed—and for a long while we were until an unexpected medical diagnosis within the family.
He is a deeply loving, loyal dog who bonds closely with his people. He is naturally protective, which comes from devotion rather than aggression. He is affectionate and enjoys cuddling on the couch and in bed. He also has a very gentle side—especially with our granddaughter, whom he is sweet and patient.
Charlie has idiopathic epilepsy, which is well controlled with medication. He has been stable on his treatment plan, and we are happy to share full veterinary records.
