If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We adopted Bowser from PetSmart about a month and an half ago. They claimed he was 6-8 months old which matches his size, and he’s grown a bit since we got him. One of the coolest things about him is that he plays fetch! (“Good boy, bring it here!”). He’s extremely friendly and a lap cat for sure. His coat is a really nice mix of black, brown, and grey.
Unfortunately, one of our cats doesn’t accept him and he has had a few bathroom incidents in the house since we got him. We aren’t sure why this is happening (perhaps we aren’t cleaning the litter frequently enough?). He ended up peeing on ~$1000 worth of music equipment which was the last straw. Our other two cats are older and have no such issues.
He’s an extremely lovable cat; he likely just needs some additional training but we aren’t willing to risk more peeing incidents.
Also, he really likes to open cupboards when he’s bored. This isn’t an issue for us since we fastened all the cupboards, but it’s important to know.
