Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Male - DOB: 5/1/2024. Ethan is a gentle, shy soul who just needs a little extra time and understanding. He was adopted once before but returned when he didn’t warm up quickly. The truth is, Ethan takes a while to trust, but once he does, he’s incredibly sweet. Inside his kennel he talks to everyone and LOVES attention, but once he's out he becomes a little unsure and will shy away.
He would do best in a quiet, patient home where he can go at his own pace. If you're someone who believes in second chances and the quiet kind of love, Ethan is waiting for you.
Give him the chance he deserves. He just might be your perfect match.

More about this shelter
In 1978 a group of neighbors got together to provide foster homes and find families for the ever-increasing number of stray animals roaming the Tri-Lakes area. As the program grew, it became apparent that a shelter facility was necessary. After ten years of fund raising, the Tri-Lakes Humane Society opened in June, 1988!
We are a no-kill 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides temporary shelter for stray and abandoned animals while seeking to find them permanent homes. We receive no state or local funding and rely solely on public donations.
