My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Single, extremely intelligent, active female looking for her perfect adventure buddy. Rita is not interested in a family with children or the need to have other animals along for her adventures. However, if there happens to be a male black lab, she may be interested in negotiating her terms. No couch potatoes need reply. Are you interested in hiking in the woods, hanging out on the beach, enjoying sunrises, playing soccer, hide and seek and giving nice long massages, Rita would definitely be interested in meeting you. Are you a person who understands the importance of building trust and respect with time and work? Rita is not a push over, her new adventure buddy will need to have confidence and not need a velcro dog. Rita loves sunbathing, so please have a privacy fence so she can relax without worrying about papparzi.

Rita is up to date on all necessary vaccines, has been spayed and is on flea/tick & heartworm prevention. She is estimated to be 3 years old. Rita's adoption fee is $200, but $100 of the fee is sponsored by The Tom Harvey Memorial Dog Park. Her fee includes the cost of her dog license., collar and leash.

Pets are seen by appointment. We ask people to complete an interest form which is online at https://pawshumane.weebly.com/interest-form.html .
