Are you a person who understands the importance of building trust and respect with time and work? Rita is not a push over, her new adventure buddy will need to have confidence and not need a velcro dog. Rita loves sunbathing, so please have a privacy fence so she can relax without worrying about papparzi.
Rita is up to date on all necessary vaccines, has been spayed and is on flea/tick & heartworm prevention. She is estimated to be 3 years old. Rita's adoption fee is $200, but $100 of the fee is sponsored by The Tom Harvey Memorial Dog Park. Her fee includes the cost of her dog license., collar and leash.

If there are dogs or cats in the prospective adopters home, they should be spayed or neutered. There is a pre-adoption survey, and an adoption contract that is signed at the time of the adoption. We will do out of state and in state adoptions, but we do not provide transportation at this time.
