Arctic
Spayed female
65lbs
Husky Mix
4 years old
Arctic is a white Husky mix with striking blue eyes and a whole lot of main-character energy. She’s confident, expressive, and knows she deserves the spotlight. She’s playful and loves being involved in whatever you’re doing.
She knows her basic commands, walks well on leash, and lives for backyard zoomies. True to her husky roots, she’s talkative and full of personality. Arctic loves attention and sometimes thinks she’s a lap dog. When she’s not snuggling, she’s in her spot by the window keeping an eye on the neighborhood or playing with her foster brother.
She can be a little overexcited when meeting new dogs at first, but with time, she’s very dog-friendly and enjoys having a canine companion. Cats are a no for her. Because of her energy levels, Arctic would do best in a home with kids 13+.
Arctic loves her toys and food so much that she’s sometimes reluctant to share. She’s learning her manners and thrives with consistent routines and clear boundaries.
Arctic spends some time in the crate with the door open, but she does great being left out and doesn’t get into trouble. At night, she does a few security laps around the house and then settles in to sleep through the night on the floor or couch.
Arctic is food-motivated, curious, affectionate, and deeply loyal. She’s finally experiencing a real Buffalo winter for the first time, and she can’t wait to spend the rest of it in her forever home.
If you are interested in Arctic, please apply at the adoption link in the comments below or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved.
