Meet Jake — the dog who refuses to give up on love Circle 2 Rescue is urgently looking for a foster or adopter for Jake, a truly special boy who has been waiting far too long for his happy ending. Jake is just over 1 year old and showed up on a stranger’s front porch on October 25th with a broken front leg. When others considered euthanasia, we couldn’t let that be his story. Jake received the medical care he needed, his leg was repaired, and he is now fully healed and ready for life. He is being boarded at the vet office and spends much of his time in his kennel. He desperately needs a real home environment.

House trained
Leash and crate trained
Personality-wise? Jake is a ROCKSTAR.
Loves all people
Great with other dogs
Even does well with cats
Has never met a stranger or enemy
Jake is an energetic young dog who needs an active lifestyle. Right now, his excitement Understandably, Jake gets very excited when he gets time out of the kennel and likes to do zoomies. With daily walks and time outside the kennel he will be very happy!
He is quiet, calm, and well-behaved in his kennel
He walks great on leash once he settles
With proper daily exercise, we truly believe he will mellow beautifully
Jake isn’t “just” a medium-sized black dog — he’s a fabulous, joyful, affectionate pup whose personality shines the moment you meet him. He’s resilient, loving, and ready to pour his heart into someone who will finally give him the life he deserves. Foster or adopt Jake and be the reason his story ends with love.
