Victor was adopted as a kitten and is unfortunately being returned due to the owner moving.
Victor is a very active and playful cat. He especially loves plush toys. His favorite toy is a small mouse attached to a stick; whenever he sees it, he becomes extremely energetic and jumps around the room.
Victor enjoys sleeping on his small cat tree (especially on the top bed) and in cozy hidden spots like under the couch or under the bed. At night he usually doesn’t sleep on the bed, but he likes walking around and staying nearby.He has a strong appetite but is selective with food. He only eats chicken-flavored dry kibble, specifically Hill’s chicken formula. He has never taken to wet food despite many attempts. However, he absolutely loves stick treats — especially chicken flavored and gets very excited when he sees them.
Victor is very friendly and gets along well with people. He enjoys interacting with visitors and likes playing with guests who come to the house.
Victor has not lived with other cats, dogs or kids, so he would be a foster to adopt candidate for anyone with children or other pets.

The first step in the adoption process is the adoption application which is located on our website rescueandadopt.org/adopt
Our website includes a lot of info, including a FAQ page with lots of answers.
From there if all looks good we will contact you to schedule a meet and greet with you and a the adoptable kitty. We are a foster system so we do not have a facility. Visits to meet an adoptable animal at a foster family is by appointment only.
If all goes well at the meet and greet, the next step from there would be the home check and adoption visit where we bring the kitty with us to your home to ensure that you have all the basic supplies set up in an isolation/ introduction room. We can also help answer any additional questions you may have at this time. Then we would do the adoption paperwork and finalize the adoption.
Adoption fees: $150 for kittens and cats under 5 years old. $125 for cats 5 years old and over. We do offer a 15% discount for adopting 2 ADULT cats (over 1 year old) at once.
