My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Carl 🐾

Carl is a handsome year-and-a-half-old Maine Coon mix with classic tuxedo markings and a gentle soul to match. He’s fully up to date on all vetting and ready to find his forever home.

Carl truly shines around other cats and would do best in a home with a friendly feline companion. He enjoys calm company and is happiest in a quieter environment where he can feel safe and settled. Because of this, Carl is looking for a home without children or dogs.

With time and patience, Carl shows his affectionate side and enjoys being near his people in his own relaxed way. He’s the kind of cat who will thrive with someone who appreciates a peaceful household and understands the beauty of a soft, steady bond.

More about this rescue

Shadow Cat Advocates exists to provide assistance to all the abandoned and forgotten cats and kittens that live all around us. We are a 501c3 non-profit and all donations to our organization are deductible to the extent allowed by IRS laws. We have no office expenses, no salaries, and our volunteers all work for FREE and pay their own expenses. Without volunteers, our mission would be meaningless. We are looking for additional volunteers. Are you willing to foster a cat for a short period, become a caretaker, help trap, or assist in one of our fundraising events? Shoot us an email as any help you can offer will be met with a huge THANK YOU!
