MY RESCUE STORY
I was rescued from a city pound in Pyeongtaek alongside my dear friend Almond, where I was sadly placed on the euthanasia list. Now I’m safe, full of hope, and ready to begin an exciting new chapter with my forever family—one filled with love, cuddles, and happy memories together.
MY HEALTH
MY PERSONALITY
I’m a sweet and absolutely adorable boy! My face looks a bit like a Jindo, but with cute little Corgi legs that make me extra charming. My time at the city pound never dampened my spirit — I greet everyone with warmth and friendliness, and I even did amazingly well during my hospital visits! I know I have so much potential, and my past didn’t give me the chance to fully show my super sweet, gentle side. I’m a resilient, loving boy who truly deserves the absolute best and a family to cherish me forever.
MY SOCIAL SKILLS
· With People: I might be a little shy at first, but I warm up really quickly—especially if you have treats and a kind smile! I take treats gently from your hand, and before you know it, I’m happily soaking up pets and affection. Once I feel safe, I’m easy to pick up and will even show my belly as a sign of trust, letting you know I feel comfortable with you.
· With Dogs: I’m very friendly with my dog friends, and playtime is definitely one of the highlights of my day! I feel most comfortable with dogs around my size, and I’m always gentle, polite, and easygoing, making me a joy to be around. When I was at the city pound, I was a bit more sensitive around other dogs because it was overcrowded and stressful, but since arriving at my care facility, I’ve adapted wonderfully. I get along beautifully with my dog friends now, showing just how gentle, sweet, and resilient I truly am. Staff and volunteers love seeing how far I’ve come.
· With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.
ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY
I have a moderate energy level—I enjoy my outdoor time, but afterward I’m more than happy to snuggle up and relax indoors.
TRAINING & HABITS
I’m doing really well with my leash skills! While I might pull a little when I get excited, I generally walk nicely and love following my handler’s lead. I don’t guard my food around people, though I can be a little sensitive when other dogs are nearby and may growl to protect my space. Separate feeding during mealtimes works best for me, and I’m learning to be more patient with my food every day at the care facility. This behavior likely comes from my early days at the city pound, where life was chaotic, but I’m improving so much and have no issues sharing treats with my dog friends here. I’m a smart, gentle, and adaptable pup who is growing more confident every day! I may mark a little at first in a new environment, but I quickly settle down once I feel comfortable.
MY IDEAL HOME
I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with:
SPECIAL NOTES
I’m a sweet, gentle, and resilient boy who warms up quickly with treats and gentle affection. Once I feel safe, I love showing my playful, affectionate side. I get along wonderfully with people and dog friends, enjoy playtime, and am super adaptable—learning leash walking, kennel rest, and potty routines. Life at the city pound made me a little cautious around food, but I’m learning to be patient and happily share treats now. I’m a calm, loving, and easygoing companion ready to shine in a caring forever home.
