Meet Sweet Potato!

Sweet Potato came into our care around Thanksgiving but needed some time to decompress at our shelter. While she is still a shy cat she gets a little more confident every day. We are estimating her to be 10 months to a year old and she is a striking tuxedo kitty. Sweet Potato has lived with multiple cats before coming to the shelter and she currently is in a condo with her buddy Cornbread. She will need a quiet and patient home to keep working with her on handling but through play and treats we know she will bond with someone once out of a shelter setting. Young kids will probably be too much for her at this time but we do think another cat in the home will really help her. One of Sweet Potato's eyes had some damage to it prior to coming to the shelter and we are currently treating. We are seeing improvement but it may never be 100% again. This doesn't slow her down at all though!
