My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mac’s journey started in a heartbreaking place. He came to us weighing just 28 pounds after enduring severe neglect, far too thin and weak for a dog his size. Thanks to consistent care, good food, and a whole lot of love, Mac is still gaining weight and feeling better every day—and his personality is finally getting the chance to shine.

Now that he’s on the mend, Mac is ready for pre-adoption. He’s an energetic, happy guy who will thrive with an active family and a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy life the way he always should have. Mac will do best in a cat-free home, and while he’s making great progress, he’s not a finished product just yet. He’s still learning the basics and will need a patient, understanding adopter who’s willing to help him build confidence and polish his manners.

Mac has already come so far. With the right home, his best days are clearly ahead.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to build a community that promotes animal welfare through compassionate services to animals and people. We are an independent foster-based rescue providing lifesaving opportunities for pets in need of responsible adoption.

This means we do not have a shelter facility to meet our pets, but we're eager to set-up meetups with our foster families for you to find your perfect match!
