Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Camo
Camo is a handsome black short-haired cat with striking yellow-green eyes and an even brighter personality. He is estimated to be around 10–11 years old and is a true love bug at heart. Camo may be a little shy when you first meet him, but he warms up quickly—especially if you come bearing a brush and some canned food. Once he trusts you, his affectionate nature shines.
Camo has no teeth, which doesn’t slow him down one bit. He happily enjoys canned food and lives a comfortable, content life. He’s a chunky guy with a lot of love to give, and because he doesn’t groom himself very well, he needs regular brushing. Thankfully, brushing is one of his favorite activities. He sheds quite a bit, so keeping up with grooming helps him feel his best—and gives you an excuse for extra bonding time.
This sweet boy is friendly with other cats and dogs and doesn’t mind being picked up. He’s often found rolling around, petting himself, and inviting anyone nearby to give him belly rubs. Camo truly thrives on affection and companionship.
Why adopt a senior cat?
Senior cats like Camo make wonderful companions. Their personalities are already fully developed, so there are no surprises—you know exactly who you’re bringing home. They’re typically calmer, lower-key, and deeply appreciative of a safe, loving home. Seniors are also often overlooked in shelters despite having so much love left to give. Adopting a senior means giving a cat comfort, security, and dignity in their golden years—and in return, you get a loyal, grateful friend.
Camo is looking for a cozy home where he can be brushed, spoiled, and adored. If you’re searching for a gentle, affectionate companion who will happily share your couch and your heart, Camo may be the perfect match.
