Brandy is approximately 2 years old and weighs 50 pounds. She has been vetted and is up to date on vaccinations and is heartworm negative. Brandy is currently located in a TX shelter and is in danger of being euthanized. The town mayor wants to kill the current shelter dogs in order to make space for new dogs.
Brandy walks well on a leash, and she LOVES to eat.
When they come to the shelter in the morning she's waiting for them with a bowl in her mouth as if to say, "GOOD MORNING, I'M HUNGRY!"
Since she loves food so much, she does need to be fed separately from other animals in the house.
She was recently found 'sharing' her kennel space with a rattlesnake! Can you imagine? Luckily she is okay.
Brandy is a sweet, friendly, loving and smart stray girl that was picked up by animal control because she was falsely accused of biting - but it was just the locals way of getting a stray dog off the streets. Please help us show Brandy that mean people don't win. Help us save her and give her a forever home before she is euthanized.
If adopted, Brandy can come on our January transport which arrives in NJ on the 17th.

We will contact your references and vet. Then a Virtual Home Visit (video call) is conducted.
Approve Application
If approved, a Meet and Greet is scheduled or transport pickup is confirmed.
Take the Pet Home
Adopter gets a new "Friend for Life" and a pup has been saved.
