A Note from the Foster: Hi, I’m Jiffpom! My foster Mom says I'm an adorable little peanut!
I’m a 6-month-old Pomeranian and weigh about 7 pounds. I’m a fun, cuddly, and pretty calm little guy who loves playing with my furry foster brothers and sisters (small and medium-sized dogs and cats)—and then curling up for some cozy snuggle time. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but once I know you’re my person, I will love you with my whole heart. I really enjoy being held and cuddling on the couch with you.
Sometimes I get a little anxious when I’m alone, but I’m learning every day and usually do fine if I’m distracted or gently redirected. I’d really love a home with another dog to be my buddy—it helps me feel safe and happy. I’m doing well with potty training (still learning, but I’m a smart boy, so I know I’ll get it!). I already know how to sit, especially when treats are involved—because treats are sooooo yummy!
I’m not the biggest fan of my kennel, but I do sleep quietly in it at night when it’s next to the bed, and I eat calmly as long as someone sits with me. I’m a sweet, sensitive little soul who wants love, patience, and a best friend (or two). If you’re looking for a loyal cuddle buddy, I might be your guy.
