Reginald (Reggie for short) is a one-year-old male bunny who is neutered (I think?) and is litterbox trained. He’s very social and well-behaved with people of all ages. Reggie is extremely playful and will thrive in a home that can provide plenty of toys and space to explore.
He does well in a spacious enclosure when unattended but prefers having the freedom to roam and hop around a few hours out of the day rather than living in a cage. He has only been part of one family since he was a baby. According to his original owners, Reggie enjoys being around cats and has done well playing with them, but he may not be a good fit for a home with dogs.
While Reggie doesn’t enjoy being picked up/held, he is affectionate in his own way. Once he feels comfortable, he's happy to accept gentle pets on his own terms and at his own pace. Reggie would be a wonderful companion for someone who can offer him spaciousness, patience, and lots of enrichment.
Reggie is an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
At this time, Ruff Start will not be vaccinating our foster rabbits for RHDV2. Adopters will need to work with their personal vet to determine if they should vaccinate for RHDV2 after adoption. For more information please reference the Minnesota Board of Animal Health.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
