My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Latte ☕🐶

Latte is a sweet senior blue heeler–hound mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. Just like her name, she’s the perfect blend of calm, comfort, and a little bit of classic charm. Latte enjoys the simple pleasures in life—leisurely walks where she can follow her nose, cozy beds for afternoon naps, and plenty of gentle affection.

She came to the shelter with another hound–heeler mix named Gizmo, and the two share a lovely bond. While Latte is happy soaking up attention on her own, she would also enjoy the chance to continue life with her familiar companion if the opportunity is there.

With her loyal heeler devotion and the easygoing, curious nature of a hound, Latte would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm, loving presence. If you’re ready to add a little warmth and sweetness to your life, Latte is ready to meet you. 💕☕

More about this shelter

Companions Animal Center is a non-profit organization funded exclusively by donations and grants. Every day we receive numerous homeless animals. We shelter, feed, and provide medical care for these animals while searching for loving homes for them.

As a "No-Kill" shelter, animals who are in our facility do not face a "be adopted quick or else" ultimatum but rather are cared for until they can be placed.

Our Mission - is to focus all of our efforts and resources toward directly benefiting the quality of life for all abandoned or mistreated pets with the ultimate goal of finding each one a loving household in which to share their lives.
