Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poppy is a 3 year old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!
Meet Poppy! Poppy is a gorgeous and low-key kitty who is looking for a quiet and calm forever home to call her own. When she first arrived at the shelter she was a very nervous and unsure girl but she has begun to settle in and warm up. While she is still a shy lady, she does allow slow and gentle pets from her favorite people. She is otherwise a very mellow girl who won’t ask for much in her new home other than a cozy cat bed to nap in, a high spot such as a cat tree to lounge in, and a nice relaxing spot next to a sunny window to relax in.
Since Poppy is a timid lady, she will need very slow introductions to her new home and initial confinement to a small area while she adjusts to her new surroundings. She startles very easily and would therefore do best in a calm home where any children in the house should be at least 12 years of age or older. She adores spending time with her feline friends and would love to have a kitty companion in her new home too who can help provide her with comfort and confidence. Any other pets in the home should be calm and respectful.
If you are interested in adopting, start by filling out an application on our website and email it to frontdesk@couleehumane.com OR you can print and drop off in person: https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal?rq=application
