**Sousaphone**, lovingly called *Sousa*, is a delightful tortoiseshell kitten with a big personality packed into a tiny body. Sweet, playful, and wonderfully goofy, she brings energy and laughter wherever she goes. Sousa is especially known for her hilarious quirk: if she gets a treat she really loves, she’ll give a little growl when her sister comes near—clearly very serious about her snacks!
This high-energy girl adores interactive play and is always ready to pounce on fishing pole toys or chase squeaky mice. When she’s not zooming around, you’ll often find her perched at a window watching the world go by or curled up on a person for some cozy time. She enjoys being picked up and likes cuddles, though she appreciates affection on her own terms.
Sousaphone does great with other cats and must have a feline companion in her forever home, as kittens under four months thrive with a buddy. She’s wonderful with kids of all ages and, while she hasn’t met dogs in rescue, would likely do fine with proper introductions.
Fully litter trained and full of charm, Sousaphone is a sweet, silly, and affectionate kitten ready to bring joy—and a little playful growling—to her forever home. 🐾💛

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!!! Twin Cities Pet Rescue is a volunteer-run, foster home-based organization. We can only rescue as many animals as available foster homes. Please consider saving the life of an animal in need and become a volunteer foster home today. To become a foster, fill out a dog or cat foster application on the Twin Cities Pet Rescue website: www.twincitiespetrescue.org . There is little to no cost to foster an animal. Twin Cities Pet Rescue provides its foster families with food, supplies, and veterinary care for its animals. All you need to do is supply the love!
PLEASE NOTE: Twin Cities Pet Rescue will consider adoption applicants from many parts of the country. However, preference will always be given to applicants within 100 miles of the TCPR office in Maplewood, MN.

Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed.
