My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stanley 🤎

Stanley is a shy but incredibly sweet brown tabby with a soft soul. He may take a little time to feel comfortable, but once he does, he absolutely melts for chin rubs, kind words, and gentle affection. His quiet nature makes him a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates the small, meaningful moments.

Stanley would thrive in a calmer, slower-paced home where there isn’t too much hustle and bustle, giving him the space he needs to grow into his most confident self. He’s a loving boy who can’t wait to show his forever family who he truly is.

He previously lived in a home with other cats and did well, so he wouldn’t be scared to share the people he loves with feline friends. With patience and love, Stanley will be a loyal, tender-hearted companion. 💕

More about this rescue

Founded in 1990, Nuzzles and Co (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) was just a small group of animal lovers lobbying for a new shelter facility. Today, we are a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation organization with an adoption center, dedicated staff and board of trustees, and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that includes a full veterinary suite, indoor and outdoor training spaces, miles of hiking trails, and a community cat room with an attached "catio."
