My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jasper is a five-year-old gentleman with a soft heart and an inquisitive soul. He’s the kind of cat who quietly observes the world, then leans in once he decides you’re worth knowing (you are). Sweet, curious, and wonderfully affectionate, Jasper enjoys gentle attention, cozy spots, and being near his people—whether that means supervising from a windowsill or settling in for calm companionship. He’s past the kitten chaos stage and firmly in his “best friend energy” era, making him an ideal match for someone who appreciates a thoughtful, loving cat who truly connects.

More about this rescue

Founded in 1990, Nuzzles and Co (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) was just a small group of animal lovers lobbying for a new shelter facility. Today, we are a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation organization with an adoption center, dedicated staff and board of trustees, and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that includes a full veterinary suite, indoor and outdoor training spaces, miles of hiking trails, and a community cat room with an attached "catio."
