Halloumi is a one-year-old, 12-pound Chihuahua with an easygoing nature that makes him a joy to be around. This little guy is dog friendly, playful, and affectionate, and he takes everything in stride. He’s very comfortable with handling and happily accepts attention, making him a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a sweet and manageable dog.

Halloumi walks nicely on a leash but is also perfectly content being carried, giving him the best of both worlds. He enjoys playtime with toys and knows how to relax, especially when there’s a fluffy bed nearby for him to curl up in. At the Pinal County shelter, he shared a kennel with four other dogs and was well behaved the entire time, proving he’s a “go with the flow” kind of pup who adapts easily to his surroundings.

With his friendly demeanor and balanced energy level, Halloumi would fit well into many types of homes, whether you’re looking for a walking buddy, a playful friend, or a cozy cuddle companion. He’s the kind of dog who simply wants to be included and loved.
