Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB 1-Oct-2025
Eugene is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved.
Meet Eugene, a handsome brown tabby with a title as big as his personality: The Duke of Kensington Market. While the name sounds aristocratic, this boy is actually a total softie who prefers snuggles over status. He has a beautiful coat and a distinctive warm brown touch to his face that makes him look quite distinguished, but at heart, he is just a lover boy looking for attention.
Eugene came into foster care with his mom and three siblings when he was just two weeks old. He grew up to be the biggest kitten of the group, but he is easily the sweetest. More than anything, Eugene loves to be with people. If you sit down, he takes that as an immediate invitation to jump right into your lap, turn on his incredibly loud purr motor, and drift off to sleep. He is a purring machine who is happiest when he is being petted and held close by his humans.
In addition to being a cuddle champion, Eugene is a very easygoing and well-mannered kitten. He is perfect with his litter box usage and has a very healthy appetite, with a particular love for wet food. Because of his social nature, he would be a great fit for a home with other young cats (or one of the siblings - Avril/Alanis) and would also do well with dogs, as long as there is a proper, slow introduction.
