Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet this sweet Shepherd–Dachshund mix girl who is ready for a second chance At 9 years old, she’s a gentle, soulful senior with a heart full of love. She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet and affectionate nature shines through and she loves to cuddle.
She came to us after being surrendered to a veterinary office, where she had been suffering for several days from painful bladder stones. Our facility stepped in to help, and she successfully underwent surgery. We’re happy to share that she has recovered beautifully and is feeling so much better.
She will need to remain on a urinary care diet to help keep her healthy moving forward, but she doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. She’s looking for a calm, loving home that will give her the patience, comfort, and care she deserves in her golden years.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will reward you with quiet affection and gratitude, this lovely girl may be the perfect match

More about this rescue
The Newnan-Coweta Humane Society has a dedication and passion to rescue shelter pets located at local kill shelters. Those rescued pets are vetted and vaccinated then placed in our foster care program where they are socialized with our own pets, taught basic manners (dogs/puppies), start crate-training method (dogs/puppies)and in short, get them ready for their forever home. They stay in our foster care system until their forever homes are found. The volunteers of NCHS are dedicated to rescuing homeless pets because there are so many pets in kill shelters that are wonderful, loving pets. They are euthanized simply because they do not have homes.
