My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tuesday and Igor! They are a sweet, balanced pair looking for a new family. Their former family is unable to care for them anymore, so they are looking for a new place to call home.

Sign up to adopt them at https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PSTR/Dog

Igor is a 4-year-old black Domestic Shorthair who may be shy at first but quickly shows his affectionate side—he’s vocal, playful, and loves cuddles once he feels comfortable. His best friend Tuesday is an 18-year-old grey Domestic Longhair with a calm, gentle nature. She prefers the simple things in life: a sunny window, a cozy nap spot, and some tasty wet food.

Despite their age difference, Igor and Tuesday make a perfect duo—Igor brings energy and companionship, while Tuesday brings serenity and wisdom. Both are litter-trained, friendly with dogs, cats, and kids, and simply want a peaceful place to stay while their person gets back on their feet.

Together, they’ll fill your home with love, purrs, and the quiet comfort of a truly special bond.

Our application process is simple and follows the "Adopters Welcome" protocol. Our interview process is conversational. We check animal neglect/abuse registries, but otherwise make adoption decisions based on the mutual conversation.

All of our pets live in foster homes, so meet-and-greets will be by appointment only!

More about this rescue

Pawster Nashville provides crisis foster care in order to keep pets and their people together. When a pet owner is temporarily unable to care for their pet, we place their dog or cat in a loving foster home until the owner is back on their feet. Occasionally, an owner is unable to be reunited with their pet. In these cases, we place the pet for adoption.
