A neighbor found Mika emaciated and close to death in October. She spent 2 wks at the Dumb Friends League under vet care. We adopted her when she was ready to find a home. Mika is the sweetest girl - she wants affection, food and lots of exercise. She plays well with our Rhodesian Ridgeback 7.5 year old male.
Our daughter was recently diagnosed with cancer and we will be traveling between Illinois and home for the next year. Mika requires training to walk without pulling on the leash and not jumping over the fence to the neighbors dog. She is 90% house trained, is crate trained and knows commands like no, sit, come here etc.
It breaks our heart to have to let Mika go but we don't have the luxury of time to train or be with her. She is approximately 35 lbs and 7 months old. She would do best in a household where she can get lots of exercise and love. If you are an active household with lots of love - Mika is your girl. DNA test has been sent - breed unknown.
