Meet Georgia
Hi! I’m Georgia, a Shepherd mix around 10 months old and about 30 pounds — my foster mom says I’m the perfect-sized package! I’m a happy, fun-loving girl who enjoys toys, chewing on bones, and a good game of fetch. Playtime is definitely one of my favorite things.
I currently live with several other dogs and get along well with them. Because of my past, where meals weren’t always guaranteed, I do need to be fed separately so I can feel safe and relaxed at mealtime. With that small accommodation, I do great in a multi-dog home and would actually love to have another playful dog around to keep me company and help boost my confidence.
I’m a smart girl and already working hard on learning new commands. I’m very treat-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for both of us! Like any young dog, I’m still learning how to live in a house and will need continued guidance and patience in my forever home so I can grow into the very best version of myself.
I’d do best in a home with older kids (around 8+) who understand how to give me space when I need it and help me continue building confidence.

The adoption fee of $300 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
