Hello darlings, my name is Miss Tuffsy.
People sometimes smile when they hear my name, and it suits me more than you might think. I’m called Miss Tuffsy not because I’m rough or bold, but because I have a quiet kind of strength. I may be shy at first, but it takes courage to open your heart, and I do that beautifully once I feel safe.
I’m a gorgeous long-haired black cat with stunning amber eyes and an absolutely adorable face (so I’m told). I can be a little head-shy in the beginning, but I truly enjoy being petted. Once I get to know you, I soak up affection and show my sweet, gentle side.
I love other cats and feel happiest lounging in comfy cat beds or relaxing up high on a cat tree. You’ll often find me stretched out, enjoying a peaceful moment, but I do enjoy playtime too when the mood strikes.
I’m looking for a patient, understanding family who will let me warm up at my own pace and appreciate the soft, loving soul beneath my shy exterior. If you do, I promise I’m worth the wait.
You can come meet me any day between 1–5 PM, even on holidays, at our sanctuary.
I’ll be the elegant black cat lounging gracefully… quietly showing just how strong and sweet Miss Tuffsy really is.
I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.
I am fully vetted: spayed, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing.

Since Furball Farm gives many cats forever homes they are always in need of Scoopable cat Litter, canned cat food, and cleaning supplies. Items purchased at PetSmart in Faribault can be left at the store and they will contact us for pick up. We appreciate any help we can get and so do the cats!!! Thank you!!

Our goal is to be a sanctuary for cats who are not adoptable and to find loving homes for those who are. We welcome you to visit our sanctuary to snuggle with our furballs. You may even end up going home with one...or two!!!
You always need to remember our cats come with baggage. Lots of them were treated badly by people and it has taken time for them to trust us. They may need to come out of their shells once you adopt them. You need to give them time to see you are not going to hurt them. We love our Furballs and want good homes for all of them. Please remember it is all about the cats for us.
We only adopt out our Furballs to people within 2-3 hours of our sanctuary because of the baggage they come with. This does not include some of the cats in foster care (contact their foster parents for more information).
