While he’s a superstar in the house (he is potty trained and handles his crate like a pro), he prefers to be the center of your world. Sherm is a bit selective with other dogs and has a high prey drive that makes him a "no-go" for homes with cats or small animals.
Though he can be a little shy at first, Sherm is people-friendly and can generally be won over with a tasty snack; he is extremely treat-motivated, making him a dream for continued training! Because he hasn't met any children yet and prefers a focused environment, it is likely that he do best in an adult-only, pet-free home where he can get all the belly rubs and attention he deserves. CARE STL welcomes adopters to either come by the shelter or fill out an adoption application online to save some time at the shelter. The purpose of this application is to gather information about your home, pets, and general lifestyle to help our Match-Makers determine if the pet you wish to adopt is a good fit for both you and the pet.
