**Curious - Sweet - Bashful** Aspen is a sweet girl looking for calm companionship and a quiet home. She doesn't wear her heart on her sleeve, she needs to get to know you. Once she does, she'll be your sidekick, office buddy, couch cuddler and silly companion. In new situations she's a bit nervous. She will needs patience and understanding time to settle in. Once she feels at home, she loves hanging out next to her people. Things she loves, chasing bugs, tossing around little toys, routines, her cave bed. Things she does not care for, other animals, the outside, busy children, a busy household. If you are looking for a kitty that is not a party girl but does have a bout of zoomies once in awhile, come meet Aspen! (JL 01/26)

Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is a private, nonprofit organization that relies on individual donations, grants, and our own fundraising to operate. We receive no federal, state, or government funding.

Adoption fees help offset some of the costs associated with providing for the cats and kittens in our care—this includes housing, medical care, enrichment, behavior modification, and more.

CAT uses variable adoption pricing. The adoption fee for each cat is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, health, and demand.

Adoption fees range from $15 to $200 for cats (1 year old and above) and $100 to $200 for kittens (2-11 months old). Thanks to the Aleece Runge Fund for Senior Cats, the adoption fee for all cats 8 years and older is waived. The adoption fee for each cat is included in their pet bio.

Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is the Pacific Northwest’s largest non-profit, limited-admission cat shelter with its own full-service on-site veterinary hospital. CAT works with our community to find loving placement for homeless cats and kittens in need. The cats available for adoption from CAT come to us through public surrender and through partnerships with other shelters, rescue groups, and veterinary offices. CAT works to take in cats that might otherwise be euthanized. With the support of our CAT community, we help about 3,000 cats find new homes each year, plus offer low-cost spay/neuter and other services to support cats and their families.
