My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sadie Deserves to Be Chosen This Time.

45 lbs | 2 years old | Boxer mix | Foster or Adopt

Sadie once had a family.

She ended up in the shelter.
Got reclaimed.
Then ended up there again — pregnant.
And this time… no one came back for her.

She gave birth in the shelter system. She raised every single one of her babies. She watched them all get adopted.

And now it’s her turn.

Sadie is a 45-lb snuggle missile disguised as a boxer mix. She has absolutely no understanding of personal space and will gladly become one with your torso at any given moment.

✨ Housetrained
✨ Cratetrained
✨ Loves kids
✨ Has done well with confident male dogs her size or larger
✨ Does fine being left alone during a normal workday
✨ Tiny zoomies → immediate couch potato

She’s that perfect middle ground dog — playful when you want it, chill when you don’t. She will sprint three laps in the yard and then fully commit to being a weighted blanket.

Sadie has done everything right.
She survived being let down.
She raised her babies.
She waited.

Now she just needs someone who won’t leave.

If you can foster or adopt Sadie, please apply today. Let’s make sure the next time she walks out a door… it’s the last move she ever has to make.

Additional adoption info

We try to make the adoption process as smooth, convenient and easy as possible. We treat each animal as an individual and take that into account when approving applications. While one dog may require a 6ft privacy fenced in yard, another may be just as happy going on walks and living in an apartment. We consider the home set up and lifestyle of Adopters in regard to the pet they are interested in more than other barriers.
