My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**THIS PET IS AVAILABLE FOR OUR *FOREVER FOSTER PROGRAM* PLEASE REACH OUT FOR INFO!

Todd is the goofiest fella with the most beautiful coat! He’s playful, he’s hilarious, he’s adventurous… Todd is the total package.

At 7 years old, he is mature, respectful and polite. He is crate-trained, has basic obedience training, walks well on leash- he’s turn-key. Todd loves car rides, camping, hikes, biking, cuddling on the couch, playing in the yard and most of all, he loves YOU!

Todd LOVES puppies. They are his absolute favorite playmates. He also enjoys playing with friendly, confident but not-dominant female dogs. He does not care for male dogs and he does not want to go to a dog park.

Todd once lived with a kid and a cat, which he reportedly did well with. He has not been tested with kids and cats in quite a while. We recommend kids 12 and older.

Todd would prefer a person who understands he is aloof with new humans and who won’t make him say hi to every stranger- he would prefer to be in his crate or yard when workers or strangers he may not see again are over. He does fine with proper introductions to humans, but he’s a family-man. He loves and is completely devoted to his family and their safety.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

If you see a pet you’re interested in or you don’t but you would like to adopt from our organization anyway, please fill out an application!

2.

Meet the Pet

We set up first meet and greets in a public location for you to get to know the dog(s) you’re interested in.

3.

Meet the Pet

We do require a second meet and greet, which also helps if you’re torn between multiples! We encourage you to meet at least 2 dogs!

4.

Home Check

If the home check is goes well and everyone is still confident, the contract is signed, fee paid and your new dog can stay that day!

More about this rescue

We are long-time animal lovers working hard to reduce the number of euthanized dogs in shelters. Our ultimate goal is to house and employ veterans, teach them how to prepare a dog for adoption and should they wish, reach them to run a successful rescue so they may take our model and open one anywhere there’s a need of Veterans and K9’s alike!
