My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper is almost THE perfect puppy! At a whopping 70lbs at 7 months old, Cooper is going to be a BIG BOY! He is a cane coral/belgian Malinois/german shepherd mix (per dna).

Cooper is good with other dogs, kids and cats!

He is crate trained, working on his basic obedience training and potty training. He walks well on leash, has great recall and picks things up SO QUICK! He is food-motivated, affection driven and socially stable. He loves people, doesn’t bark at anything out on walks and hasn’t met a soul he didn’t like.

Medium energy, he loves walks, hikes, biking, pretty much any adventure you’re willing to take him on, but has a good off switch in the house and will happily cuddle on the couch to watch a movie. He rides quietly in the car.

Cooper needs to keep working on building his confidence (he’s a scardey cat!), but comes around quickly the more he exposed to the world. A little consistency from his people and he’s going to blossom into an incredible dog that EVERYONE is jealous of!

So loving and affectionate, Cooper has some of the best qualities of all his breeds and looks absolutely STUNNING with the personality to back it up. This is a once in a lifetime puppy who will brighten every single day.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

If you see a pet you’re interested in or you don’t but you would like to adopt from our organization anyway, please fill out an application!

2.

Meet the Pet

We set up first meet and greets in a public location for you to get to know the dog(s) you’re interested in.

3.

Meet the Pet

We do require a second meet and greet, which also helps if you’re torn between multiples! We encourage you to meet at least 2 dogs!

4.

Home Check

If the home check is goes well and everyone is still confident, the contract is signed, fee paid and your new dog can stay that day!

More about this rescue

We are long-time animal lovers working hard to reduce the number of euthanized dogs in shelters. Our ultimate goal is to house and employ veterans, teach them how to prepare a dog for adoption and should they wish, reach them to run a successful rescue so they may take our model and open one anywhere there’s a need of Veterans and K9’s alike!
