Eness is like one of those collectible Barbie’s you weren’t allowed to play with as a kid; she prefers to be perched up somewhere looking pretty and observing the world around her. She is a little more reserved then her sister, Elowen, but she makes it up with a teddy bear demeanor and a love of quiet cuddles. She’s more of a homebody kind of girl than a party girl, but she definitely LIKES to observe some action. She can be slower at playtime to join in but has her eyes glued till she does. She’s also a big fan of windows and TV’s so she’s a wonderful candidate if your looking for a snuggle companion while you binge your latest must-watch episodes. Eness loves the older cat in her foster home a lot and seems very interested in older cats, so if you have one, a slower introduction might be good so she doesn’t come on too strong. She’s been good with the dog, but not overly interested in him. Eness has a sister, Elowen, who is on the more wild side of things, who balances her out quite nicely, so if you’re looking for a well rounded pair they’ve got you covered.
Meet Eness and Elowen at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4pm on Saturday or apply to adopt to schedule a meet and greet another time. Get $50 off the combined adoption fee for a pair of kittens. All cats are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
