My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lorenza
Currently in Mexico — ready for her forever home in the PNW!

Breed: Plott Hound / Mountain Cur mix
Size: Medium (40ish pounds)
Color: Beautiful brindle coat
Spayed, Vaccinated, Dewormed, 4DX Negative

Personality:
Lorenza is strong, sweet, and full of energy! She loves to run, chase toys, and—true to her heart—eat bread (yes, bread is her love language ). She’s house-trained, walks well on a leash, and gets along great with male dogs. However, she prefers to be the queen bee around other females and is not a fan of sharing food, so mealtime should be solo.

Great with kids
Unknown with cats
Best as an only female dog

At night, she dreams of sleeping indoors on a cozy bed after a day of play and belly rubs.

Her Story:
Lorenza was rescued from the streets of Tlaquepaque, Jalisco. She found her hero outside a taco shop and began following her to work every day—loyal from the start. One evening, her rescuer opened the truck door, and Lorenza jumped in without hesitation. That was the beginning of her second chance.

Now she’s healthy, thriving, and ready for a family with a yard to run in, bread to snack on, and so much love to give.

Lorenza is currently in Mexico waiting for a trial family to commit to a 10-day trial to make the trip to WA. Experienced foster applications will also be considered.

Adoption fee: $600
