1.) Health Status
* Spayed: Done.
* Others: Microchipped.

2.) Rescue Story
* Miho was the dog who was on the list of euthanasia at the Gimje City Shelter. She got scared when people tried to reach her. Adogs couldn't turn away from Miho, who was shivering in the corner of the floating cage, so rushed to rescue her.

3.) Basic Matters
* With People: Tries to keep a distance because she is unfamiliar with people. Stares at people quietly from afar.
* With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs at the center.
* With Cats: Tries to chase cats in seeing them
* Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed yet because she is living in a group at the center. May need training from scratch inva home environment.
* Potty Training: Does outdoor potty only at the center.
* Hygiene: Has experience with grooming at the dog training center. Feels awkward with grooming because she is unfamiliar with touching.
* Walk: Has gone for a walk at the dog training center. Gets scared easily and needs a lot of walking practice.
* Car Sickness: Has never had any symptoms of motion sickness.
* Nip: Gets so scared easily that she may bite when you try to force to catch her.
* Like: Has a strong appetite and loves treats.
* Dislike: Tries to avoid touching.

Their adoption process

Submit Application

We highly encourage the applicants to be as thorough as possible in their application!

2.
Interview

Once the application is reviewed, applicants will be invited to zoom interviews which last usually 15-20 minutes.

3.
Approve Application

Once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

5.
Pay Fee

The adoption fee is payable in two separate installments.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Adopters will be picking up the adopted pets from the designated airports.

Additional adoption info

All our dogs fly from Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized. All adopters must agree to surrender the pets BACK to ADOGS if the adopter no longer wants the pet. All adopters must agree to provide periodic update of the adopted pet.

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
