My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Name: Buddy

*Age: approx 7 months old

*Current Weight: 10 lbs

*Adoption fee: $550

Buddy is a sweet little Dachshund mix with a gentle soul and the most endearing personality. He may be a bit shy at first, but once he feels safe, his true sweetness shines through. Buddy was found as a stray—unwanted and on his own—but he hasn’t let that dim his loving spirit.

He does wonderfully with other dogs and gains confidence from having a canine friend by his side. Buddy would thrive in a patient, calm home that will give him the time and love he deserves to fully blossom.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will reward your kindness with quiet affection and a big heart, Buddy might just be your perfect match.

More about this rescue

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
