My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Talia!

I might be a little shy at first, but please don’t let that fool you. I just need a bit of space and time to feel safe and comfortable. Once I do, my sweet side starts to shine through. I’m gentle, thoughtful, and form deep bonds with the people I trust. I’d do best with a patient adopter who understands that love doesn’t always happen instantly. Give me room to go at my own pace, and I’ll reward you with quiet companionship, soft tail wags, and moments that mean even more because they’re earned. I’m not the kind of dog who rushes into things—but if you’re willing to meet me where I am, I promise there’s a loving, loyal heart waiting underneath. Maybe we can take this journey together.

FOSTER REASON: I`m recovering from a doggie cold (an upper respiratory infection). The medications are helping, but my doctor thinks I’ll heal much faster in a home where I can relax, feel safe, and be a little happier. Scheduled recheck on 1/28.

While I`m not available for adoption yet, I am available for foster-to-adopt! Please email foster@spca.org to schedule an appointment to meet me.
