Meet Dewey!

Dewey is a very sweet boy about a year old, weighing 55 pounds. He is shy at first but loves everyone, and his affectionate nature shines through once he warms up. Dewey gets along well with most dogs and was living on a property with cats when he was found, demonstrating his easygoing temperament around other animals. He enjoys the company of his humans and thrives on affection. Dewey is good in the car and crate trained, making him a great companion for adventures and everyday life.

Located in Houston, Texas. Transport to most states available for an additional fee of $300.

Hi, I am the founder of Waiting Under the Willow Foundation, also known as W.U.W.F. We work hard at trying to find homes for dogs that are homeless or scheduled to be euthanized at Harris County Animal Shelter. There are so many dog out there that are so loving and deserving of a good home. My hopes is that more people will open their hearts and homes to some of these sweet dogs❤️. Rescue dogs make the best pets!!!
