If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Rigatoni is a 2.5 year old mutt mix. My cousin found him 2 years ago and we took him in. We have been looking for a permanent home for him the past two years and have been unsuccessful.
He is a bit of a velcro dog and a huge cuddler. He is lazy most of the day but enjoys playing with our other dog sometimes and running around outside. He is super fast and also has quite the jump and jumps our 4 foot fence with ease. We keep him on a lead outside, but he would thrive best in a home with a taller fence or someone that takes him on walks daily.
He listens well and has great recall. He is crate trained (where he stays when we leave) and housebroken.
He is good with our other dog, but seems to not like other dogs we pass on the street. He needs more of an introduction first. He is good with our toddler who frequently takes his toys and occasionally, his food out of his bowl.
The reason we are rehoming is because he deserves a yard he can roam free OR someone with more time to play/walk
