What we know: Transferred from Chloe's Canine Dog Sanctuary in Amarillo, TX. Saphire is pregnant with unknown number of puppies (Oct. 28th). She was set for euthanasia as no one was able to care for a litter, and she was believed to be too far along to spay. She is suspected to be 1-2 weeks from delivering and somewhere between 1 and 2 years old. Mom dogs are adoptable after they've raised their puppies, settled, and completed their spay.

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
