My name is Cashew!

Hi there! I’m a sweet orange kitten named Cashew. I am ready to find a loving forever home. At my age, I’m in such a fun stage of life, you’ll get to watch me grow from a playful kitten into a wonderful adult cat while I fill your home with purrs and love.
There’s something else important I want to share about myself:
I tested positive for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). I know that might sound a little scary at first, but here’s what it really means:
• Some kitties clear the virus and eventually test negative.
• Some carry the virus for life and stay healthy for many years, or even forever.
• And some may develop illness sooner and need extra care.
The truth is, no one knows yet which path my life will take. But right now? I feel wonderful. I’m active, bright, affectionate, and full of curiosity. I adore attention, cozy spots, gentle petting, and being close to someone kind.
Because FeLV can spread to other cats through close contact, I need a home where I’m the only kitty, or where any feline friends are also FeLV-positive like me. I promise that if you choose me, I will fill your home with warmth, purrs, loyalty, and gentle love every single day.
My future family should know that I may need extra care someday, and I’m hoping for someone patient and committed who won’t give up on me. But for now? I’m just a sweet, kitty ready for a loving family to take me home.
