My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Poe 🤍
Poe is the dog you might walk past at first. The one whose greeting comes on a little strong, whose tail wags a little too hard, whose heart shows up before his manners do. And we understand—first impressions are powerful. But Poe isn’t asking to be perfect. He’s just asking for a chance.

When Poe begs for your attention, it’s not because he doesn’t know how to be calm—it’s because he’s overflowing with love and doesn’t quite know where to put it yet. He wants you to see him. To notice the devotion in his eyes, the way he leans in like you’re already his person. Poe dreams of being your confidant, your adventure buddy, your late-night pillow-talk companion who listens without judgment and loves without limits.

Poe has known what it’s like to have a home—and what it’s like to lose it through no fault of his own. That kind of heartbreak changes a dog. It makes him hopeful, a little unsure, and deeply appreciative of kindness. He’s still learning, still growing, and still becoming the best version of the best friend you’ve been looking for. All he asks is your patience, your understanding, and the willingness to look past that first moment.
Give Poe a chance—and he’ll give you his whole heart.
