My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Prim is one of four siblings (Pogo, Prim, Polly, and Pearl) and is the most reserved—an elegant, gentle soul. Raised from birth with her mom, other cats, dogs, and even a senior Chihuahua, she’s well-socialized, confident, and comfortable with other animals. She’s also done well with calm, respectful children.

Prim may be the last to approach, but she always comes to greet you with quiet curiosity. She’s playful with her siblings, friendly and approachable, and has a sweet, demure presence that’s easy to fall in love with.

Prim must be adopted with one of her siblings—preferably her brother Pogo. These kittens are deeply bonded and thrive in pairs. Watching them sleep in a cozy pile of furry love is guaranteed to melt your heart. 🐾

Prim is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Their adoption process

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Check out all of the pets on our website and or stop in to meet them at the shelter.

2.
Submit Application

Submit an adoption application and wait for an adoption counselor to contact you about your approval.

3.
Approve Application

Come in to meet the pet and make sure they are a good fit. If you have a dog in the home we require dog to dog meet and greets.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Once you have found the best fit you will take the pet home for a two week foster trial period.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

At the end of the two week period, come back into the shelter to finalize your adoption and enjoy your new best friend!

Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10-4:30. We also participate is various adoption events throughout the year.
