Meet Taki, who unlike her namesake is sweet as can be! (never spicy :) We picked up Taki from the city shelter on New Years Eve. She was originally found in poor shape in an apartment with another dog and a cat, and her scars tell a sad story of a start she didn't deserve. Despite that, Taki is incredibly trusting, sweet, affectionate, well-mannered and joyful. She loves everyone she meets-- stopping to wag her tail at passersby hoping they'll pet her, or that dogs will want to be friends. She's a girly girl and loves wearing her sweaters, window shopping at stores, or exploring coffee shops, and is a dream on the leash. She's a very polite lady, sitting to wait patiently without prompting and listening carefully to her humans. She loves snuggling on the couch and covering us in kisses. Taki is working on her confidence being left alone, but we are hopeful she will improve with continued stability and decompression time.
