Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lilly!
I am a gentle soul with a heart full of love. I am very sweet and love belly rubs and treats. I weigh 10 lbs and love to go on walks. I do get excited and “talk” to other dogs on walks. Don’t they know this is my neighborhood and they aren’t allowed to walk in it too?! Due to my excitement, my foster mom thinks I’d do best in a home where I’m the only dog and get alllllll the attention.
My favorite place to be is on my humans lap, being held and watching tv. Yes, TV! Let’s meet and talk about our favorite shows to watch. I can’t wait to be our couch buddy. My foster mom says I also love to keep her company while she works and I’m the best co- worker and let her work while I snooze, dreaming of my forever family finding me.
I am about 3-1/2 years old and I’m told I’m a Yorkie-Maltese mix. Which equates to an adorable little bundle of pure happiness. I am housebroken and crate trained. But I only go in the crate when no one is home or to sleep overnight. If there are any kids in my forever home, I prefer them to be 10 or older.
Lilly is available to adopt in the Chicagoland area and is being fostered in a home. Appointments to visit her will be set up for approved adopters only. Adoption fee is $400.00 which includes all age appropriate vaccines, and she is already spayed and microchipped. Please visit our website at http://newstartdogrescue.org and fill out an application if you are interested.
