Meet Mario (and his brother Luigi, if you’d like a pair)!
Mario was rescued in 2021 at about 6 months old (so he’s ~4–5 years old now). He can be a little standoffish at first—he likes to observe and decide you’re worth his trust—but once he bonds, he becomes a true lap cat who wants to be with you as much as possible.
And fair warning: Mario is a big cat who firmly believes he’s a kitten. He’ll happily take up your entire lap (and then some) like it’s his full-time job.
Mario is playful and still has “kitten energy” in the best way: he loves to romp, chase, and stay engaged with his people. He’s also an excellent nap buddy (he takes cozy lounging very seriously). We need to rehome due to a relocation. :-(
Mario and his brother Luigi are available together or individually. I’m happy to send food/supplies with Mario to the right home.
Looking for: a patient adopter who will give him a little warm-up time—and then enjoy having a devoted cuddle companion with jumbo lap-cat ambition.
