My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.

Nanette is a darling little girl who's all ready for a permanent loving family!  She's chihuahua, pug and shihtzu mixed.  She came to us from a family along with her sister, Daddy and Aunt.  They lived in an apartment and had never been outside.  Therefore they used potty pads and have no concept of leash walking.  So her family must have a securely fenced yard and should be willing to continue leash work with her. She's doing well going outside but we still leave potty pads in her xpen for use.
She is lovable and affectionate. She's still not thrilled with the grooming aspect so her new family needs to be good with continuing this also with bathing & brushing whether at home or at a professional groomer so her coat will stay beautiful for life.   She's good with other dogs, we don't know about cats and there were kids in her original home but we don't know ages.  Older, respectful kids would be best.

Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.

More about this rescue

We are a compassionate group of volunteers that rescue dogs mostly from shelters when their time is up or when they are at capacity and will have to euthanize adoptable pets. We get many different breeds both pure bred and mixes, from very tiny to very large.
We believe every adoptable animals should have a 2nd chance at a great life. We seek commited, equally passionate adopters to provide a wonderful, loving home to our dogs!
We also believe spaying & neutering is the answer to the homeless animal population along with education.
