Doc is a small - 35 lbs, very smart, and curious dog who brings so much joy to the people around him. He is incredibly easy to teach and already knows many tricks including sit, lay down, roll over, spin, shake, wait, stay, kiss, and more. Doc loves being with his owners, enjoys long walks, and is happiest when he has time to run and play. He is kind-hearted and playful, and he gets along well with other dogs. However, he can be very excitable around new people and dogs, and he doesn't always respond well to cues. He needs regular exercise, but settles nicely in the home and can be calm once his needs are met. Doc is crate-trained and is a chewer who does best when he always has bones or chew toys available. He loves walks but currently pulls on the leash; it's something I am confident will improve quickly with continued training. We adore Doc and have invested a great deal of time, love, and training into him, but despite our best efforts, having two dogs just isn't working.
